Portfolio

Hi,

Welcome to my portfolio! As the first in my family to attend college, I am determined to build a dynamic and impactful career. Driven by curiosity, I have always seen data as a powerful tool for turning questions into actionable insights but it was not until college that I started to get more formal education on it. Pairing my interest in data with cloud computing has opened exciting new directions for exploring and working with data, and I am eager to dive deeper into this innovative field. This page highlights my growth through college projects and personal initiatives. You’ll also find certifications I’ve earned, along with insights into the skills and knowledge behind each achievement. Thanks for visiting!

Greenhouse Gas Emissions Dashboard

View on GitHub

Developed an interactive Power BI dashboard tracking campus greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption patterns. Utilized DAX calculations and Power Query transformations to analyze sustainability metrics across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Visualized multi-year trends supporting institutional carbon reduction goals and climate action reporting compliance.

Twin-Cities-MN-Airbnb-Data-Engineering-Project

View on GitHub

This project demonstrates a full data engineering workflow using real-world Airbnb listings and reviews from the Twin Cities MSA, sourced from Inside Airbnb [https://insideairbnb.com/twin-cities-msa/]. The original dataset was provided in a relational (SQL) format. I performed extensive data cleaning and transformation to restructure the data for a NoSQL environment, optimizing it for flexible queries and scalable storage. The final dataset was loaded into AWS DynamoDB, showcasing the migration from SQL to NoSQL and enabling efficient access to complex, nested listing and review data. This project highlights skills in data wrangling, schema design, and cloud database integration.

Forecasting Brazil’s Freshwater Resources with Predictive Modeling

View on GitHub

Renewable freshwater resources is a delicate resource that is most likely to reduce over time, and that even when there are measurements to stop the number of cattles or mitigations for water withdrawals, the numbers of renewable freshwater resources will not reflect a huge change since the scale in which this time series in presented is quite big. Besides, for the next 10 years is expected to decrease, which is expected.
